Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s online activity continues unabated. Today, the head of government published a post in which he highlights an article from the British newspaper The Times about Poland’s economic situation.
“It’s the third time in two days that you’re boasting about the successes of the United Right. First the West Station, then the satellites, and now this. You’re a master at taking credit for someone else’s achievements,” one internet user responded.
Tusk Boasts About the “Polish Miracle”
“Poland: an economic miracle in the heart of Europe” — this is the title of the article published in the British daily The Times. It states, among other things, that over the past 35 years Poland has caught up with Japan in terms of GDP per capita when adjusted for purchasing power. Industrial production has tripled, and property values have risen at a pace unseen for generations.
The Times cites lawyers and economists analyzing data from Central Europe, noting that Poland has achieved astonishing success. The article caught the attention of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who posted about it on X.
“The British Times on the Polish miracle. This miracle is the hard work of millions of Polish women and men. It’s nice to read,” the post says.
