TVP Reflects on Whether JD Vance Poisoned the Pope – This Is No Joke

Did Tomasz Sekielski, on a program broadcast by the public, state-run television, suggest that the Vice President of the United States fatally poisoned Pope Francis? Those who witnessed the segment of the program do not hesitate to express their astonishment.

The death of Pope Francis has brought global affairs to a standstill. Leaders from hundreds of nations gathered in Rome to participate in the funeral ceremonies. Given the gravity of the event, media outlets reporting from the Vatican have generally sought to do so with due reverence. However, TVP (currently under liquidation) departed from this norm.

During Tomasz Sekielski’s program, Sekielski in the Evening, a shocking suggestion was made.

“J.D. Vance was the last person to meet with the Pope. And we all know what happened afterwards,”

Sekielski announced before airing a segment.

The footage showed the Vice President of the United States attending an audience with Pope Francis. During the visit, Vance assured the Pope of his continued prayers and expressed satisfaction at seeing the Pontiff in somewhat improved health.

What conclusions did Sekielski draw after the footage was shown? His commentary was captioned, “Where the devil cannot go…” He himself added:

“One might attribute it to coincidence, though some leaders, upon learning of their scheduled meetings with Vance, immediately contacted their doctors for sick leave notes.”

One outraged internet user wrote: “THREE BILLION WENT INTO THIS. Rock bottom and seaweed.” Many similar comments flooded social media, the majority of which are unsuitable to quote here due to their use of vulgar language.

This, however, was not the only speculative narrative emerging from the media. Even during Francis’ lifetime, Politico suggested that Donald Trump was attempting to influence the upcoming conclave.

The portal recalled that before Pope Francis’ health began to deteriorate, he found himself in a politically sensitive situation.

“At the beginning of this month, he issued an unusual rebuke to United States Vice President J.D. Vance regarding his interpretation of Ordo Amoris—a theological concept concerning love—which Vance had invoked to justify President Donald Trump’s migration policies. The Pope’s reaction sparked outrage within the White House, raising the prospect of a highly politicized battle for succession in the event of Francis’ death,”

 Politico speculated.

They cited an anonymous “close observer of Vatican politics,” who sensationally claimed:

“They [Trump’s allies] have already influenced European politics; influencing a conclave would not be beyond them. They might seek someone less confrontational.”
