The takeover of German enterprises is for Polish small and medium-sized family businesses an
opportunity to break into new markets. They acquire the know-how and contacts – Aleksander Siemaszko
from the Ministry of Development said.
On Wednesday, March 11, the Ministry of Development, together with the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, are organizing the conference “Mergers and takeovers in Germany as an opportunity for expansion of Polish companies” to encourage Polish entrepreneurs to take over companies in Germany. The conference will be attended by experts from the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Polish Investment and Trade Agency, as well as companies that operate on foreign markets. Siemaszko, deputy head of the trade and international cooperation department at the Ministry of Development, believes that the takeovers of German enterprises is a chance for Polish small and medium-sized family businesses to break into new markets. “We encourage our entrepreneurs to participate in the conference”, he said. He argued that even for a relatively small amount of money you can take over a company in Germany that guarantees knowledge, contacts and a market brand.
