13 fetal remains found on residential estate. Grim discovery near Rzeszów

Human remains have been discovered on a residential estate of single-family homes in the village of Lutoryż, near Rzeszów, in southeastern Poland. According to unofficial reports, the remains may belong to 13 fetuses.

The case was first reported by Radio Eska.

According to the station, dozens of police officers, forensic technicians, and a prosecutor were dispatched to the scene.

“The operation has been underway since Thursday morning, when an excavator uncovered the first human remains during earthworks. Emergency services alerted to the discovery subsequently found additional remains,” the broadcaster reported.

Radio Eska further stated that the site where the remains were discovered is a plot of land recently purchased by new owners.

At this stage, the Polish Police has not released detailed information about the case. Authorities have announced that an official statement is expected to be issued on Friday around midday.

The circumstances surrounding the discovery, the age of the remains, and how they came to be buried at the location remain unknown. Investigators are expected to determine the origin of the remains and whether any criminal offenses were committed.
