On Monday evening, the government published the text of the regulation concerning new restrictions from 28th December to 17th January. As we read in the paper, the activities of shopping malls, hotels, swimming pools and fitness centres will be closed. The limits of people shall not apply to vaccinated ones.
According to the regulation, retail trade will be banned from 28th December to 17th January in commercial or service facilities with areas above 2000 sq. m. The galleries will, however, be able to operate grocery shops, pharmacies, drugstores, bookshops, zoological shops, hardware stores, furniture stores, stores with car accessories, telecommunications services.
From December 28 to January 17, people in shopping malls, shops, service stations and markets are required to wear disposable gloves or use hand disinfectants.
Retail galleries, shops and market managers must provide disposable gloves or hand disinfection. Also, galleries and shops must disinfect the cash station, service station or distributor at the filling station at least once an hour.
The work facilities are required to provide workers with disposable gloves or hand disinfectants and a minimum distance of 1.5 m between the work stations.
The senior citizens’ hours were also maintained from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:00. Food shops, roads, pharmacies and post offices only persons over 60 years of age will be served.
Following the new regulation, a ban was introduced from 28th December to 17th January on entrepreneurs conducting businesses related to discos and nightclubs, swimming pools, aquaparks, fitness centres, clubs etc.
The regulation provides that from 7 PM on 31st of December 2020 to 6 AM on 1st January 2021 in Poland, the movement will only be possible for: carrying out work or professional activities or carrying out business activities and satisfaction of the necessary needs relating to the current business of daily life.
Meetings shall be prohibited until 17 January, except for meetings organized according to notice or decision, and no more than 5 people may participate. As before, the participants in the assembly must cover their mouth and nose, and they must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between themselves. The distance between the assemblies must not be less than 100 m.
