    Caritas arranges aid for Croatia

    Caritas of the Archdiocese of Poznań has launched a fundraiser for victims of the earthquake in Croatia. Almost 100 people have already supported the campaign.

     

    At least seven people died in the recent earthquake in Croatia and at least 26 people were injured.

    Caritas of the Archdiocese of Poznań, in order to help the injured inhabitants of Croatia in the Sisacko-Moslavacki district, launched a special collection, thanks to which you can show solidarity with the injured. You can support the action, among others via the Caritas Poznań website. So far, over PLN 7.3 thousand have been collected and the campaign has already been supported by almost 100 people.

    The epicenter of Tuesday’s earthquake was 3 km from the city of Petrinja with over 15,000 inhabitants, 47 km south of Zagreb. The tremors were felt all over Croatia, as well as far beyond its borders – in Hungary, Austria, southern Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Serbia, as well as in large part of Italy, from Bolzano in the north to Naples in the south.
