PGE intends to manufacture electric powered vehicles at Autosan.
Polish bus manufacturer Autosan has been pulled back from the brink by state owned firm PGE. The leader of the Law & Justice Party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski announced today that the energy giant will be investing in the company, whose income has been nose diving in recent years. Autosan fell to just 4% of the Polish market this year. PGE intend to revamp the bus manufacturer by deploying their energy expertise, moving to electric powered vehicles and trucks needed in the energy sector. The investment will be well-received in the Southern town of Sanok, who rely on Autosan as a local employer.
