A great celebration of cinema – the Warsaw Film Festival has begun

Last weekend marked the 37th edition of the Warsaw Film Festival (WFF). More than 168 films in competition and non-competition sections, including world, international and European premieres, await film fans.

This year more than four and a half thousand films from 96 countries around the world.

“This is a great festival. Stefan Laudyn has been running it very well for many years,” assessed Lech Majewski, film director, whose film “Brigitte Bardot the Wonderful” is taking part in the international competition this year.

The festival is in the traditional formula, although due to the pandemic the event is being held under a sanitary regime.
