Theatre and film actor Maciej Zabielski has passed away, Nowy Theatre in Poznań informed. The artist, who died at the age of 64, was associated with the Poznań scene for nearly four decades.
The theatre informed that Maciej Zabielski played in the theatres in Legnica, Łódź, Gdańsk, Kraków, Gdynia and Wrocław, and in the years 1997-2000 he belonged to the artistic team of Teatr Polski in Poznań.
According to a Facebook post, the actor made his debut at the Nowy Theatre in 1983 in Janusz Wisniewski’s play ‘Koniec Europy’. Recently, the audience could see him in the theatre in ‘Dziady’ directed by Radosław Rychcik.
The Poznań media reminded on Tuesday, that Maciej Zabielski also played in films and TV series. He has appeared as a guest star in ‘Kryminalni’ and ‘Świat według Kiepskich’.
