The Border Guard informed today that there were no illegal crossings of the Polish-Belarusian border during the last 24 hours. This is the first day like this in a long time.

Since the beginning of the year, the Border Guard has recorded nearly 40,000 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border. There have been more than 1,200 attempts since the beginning of December. In November, 8.9 thousand attempts to illegally cross the border were recorded, in October 17.5 thousand, September 7.7 thousand, August 3.5 thousand.
