Ukraine is resisting an airstrike from Russia. According to the Ukrainian military, five Russian jets and one helicopter have been shot down in the Luhansk region so far.

At the same time, a statement by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that the reports of paratroopers of Russian troops in Odessa were not true.
“The information about the paratroopers of the Russian troops in Odessa is not true. The Ukrainian Air Force repels an airstrike. The military is in full combat readiness. We take defensive positions and hold them. The situation is under control,” the General Staff convinces.
