The head of Donetsk Oblast, Pavel Kyrylenko, announced the beginning of the evacuation of civilians from Mariupol (western Ukraine). The ceasefire with the Russians is scheduled to last between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and the evacuation begins at 11 a.m. (local time).
“Today there will be a ceasefire between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The evacuation begins at 11 a.m. The evacuation is carried out by public buses from three points of Mariupol,” informed on Facebook.
Kyrylenko appealed to the drivers to take as many people as possible. He stressed that it is strictly forbidden to deviate from the route of the humanitarian corridor.
More than 200 thousand people are planned to be evacuated from #Mariupol.
