Iga Świątek will play against Agnieszka Radwańska in July in Krakow, but more famous tennis players will appear on the court. There will also be a special guest – Andriy Shevchenko. The whole event is organized for the youngest Ukrainians affected by the war.
“For months I have been working with my team on a charity initiative for Ukraine to support those who suffer because of the war,” Iga Świątek wrote in a statement published on Twitter yesterday (June 29).
“Together with Agnieszka Radwańska, Elina Svitolina, Sergiy Stakhovsky and Martyn Pawelski, we will meet in Krakow on 23rd July during a special event. We will play a mixed doubles exhibition match (…) Total proceeds from the event will be donated to the support of children and teenagers affected by the war in Ukraine,” Iga informed.

The sale of the first pool of 10 thousand tickets for the event starts today (June 30) at 6 PM (GMT +2). All the details and tickets are available here.
