First, MFA Maria Zakharova considered Ukrainian borscht to be an example of xenophobia, Nazism, and extremism. Now, the Russian MFA made an “erotic” video and shared it on Telegram to celebrate a strawberry harvest season in Russia! “My harvest,” she wrote.
The original video on Telegram posted by MFA Maria Zakharova:
The video became popular and Internet users criticised her behaviour:
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova posted a strawberry-themed video on her Telegram channel, probably to prove that she’s enjoying her summer in Russia (as opposed to some decadent Western country). pic.twitter.com/InMJCPeMEd

What is more, she may have chosen a special music for her video on purpose. Besides her absurd speeches and statements regarding the war in Ukraine, she has always been a controversial figure in politics. The music in the background of the video is the Russian folk dance song “Kalinka”. This song is also connected with MFA Zakharova and her improper style. A few years ago, she danced to this song in front of foreign diplomats on one of the official meetings. Check the video of the performance below:
