Zelensky says 104 words for 104 years of Poland's Independence

“When our regained independence was 30 years old, Poland was next to us. I remember our shared happiness. We rejoiced together. When we met again with the old common enemy, Poland was next to us,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says in a special speech to Poles delivered in Polish.

The President of Ukraine concerning the 104th Anniversary of Poland’s regaining its Independence delivered a special speech to the Polish people. In his speech in Polish, he says exactly 104 words in Polish to emphasize the symbolism of the anniversary of November 11.

“Dear Poland. Your regained independence is 104 years old today. And I have 104 words for you. Ukraine and Poland together. You are our sister. We had our ups and downs, but we are relatives. We are free. When our regained independence was 30 years old, Poland was next to us. I remember our shared happiness. We rejoiced together. Your country is our sister. Your friendship is forever. Our friendship is forever. Our love is forever. Together we will be winners. With Independence Day, Poland. With Independence Day, my dear,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski said in Polish.
