    Unveiling of Adam Mickiewicz Bust in Slovenia

    In a solemn ceremony at La Ciotat Memorial Park in Kranj, Slovenia, President of Poland Andrzej Duda, alongside First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda and Slovenian President Aleš Musar, unveiled the bust of Adam Mickiewicz on the Alley of Contemporary Poets Prešerenowi.


    President Duda expressed gratitude for recognizing Adam Mickiewicz, Poland’s national bard, alongside other European Romantic poets in Kranj. He highlighted the shared struggles of Mickiewicz and Slovenian national poet France Prešeren, emphasizing their dedication to their nations amidst tumultuous times.

    Earlier that day, President Duda, together with Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar, participated in a Polish-Slovenian ICT and cybersecurity business forum, discussing regional cooperation within the Three Seas Initiative. They also engaged with representatives from both countries in ski jumping.
