Świętokrzyskie province with the greatest support per capita

EUR 891 from the EU budget will be allocated to each inhabitant of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in the 2021-2027 perspective. “This is the highest result in Poland,” said Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak, Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.

Jarosińska-Jedynak on TVP 3 Kielce informed that the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in 2021-27 will receive EUR 1.106 billion from the cohesion policy funds for the regional program. “This amounts to EUR 891 per capita. This is the highest figure in the country,” she said.

She noted that this money will be supplemented with more funds under the so-called Program Contract to be negotiated between the marshal and the minister for regional development. The pool for all regions is around EUR 7 billion.

Świętokrzyskie will also be a participant in the Eastern Poland program. Within it, EUR 2.5 billion will be allocated to six voivodeships.

The deputy minister emphasized that social projects would continue to be supported under the new EU perspective. The funds will be allocated to improving the qualifications of employees, assisting the elderly and the disabled.
