    Turbulent Night in Ukraine: Polish and Allied Air Forces Mobilized

    Due to a reduction in the threat level of missile strikes by Russian aviation on areas bordering our territory, Polish and allied air operations in Polish airspace have been concluded, and the activated forces and resources have returned to standard operational activities, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced this morning.


    Russian Long-Range Aviation Activity

    The military reported overnight that long-range Russian aviation activity was observed, conducting strikes using cruise missiles and SHAHED unmanned aerial vehicles on targets, including those in western Ukraine.

    The Command indicated that the last surge in Russian aviation activity, with strikes on western Ukraine, occurred during the night of June 6-7.

    “All necessary procedures to ensure the security of Polish airspace were initiated, and the Operational Command of the Armed Forces continuously monitors the situation,” the military reported overnight.

    This morning, the Command reiterated that due to the reduced threat of missile strikes by Russian aviation on areas bordering our territory, Polish and allied air operations in Polish airspace have been concluded, and the activated forces and resources have returned to standard operational activities.

    “The Polish military continuously monitors the situation in Ukraine and remains on constant alert to ensure the security of Polish airspace,” emphasized the command.
