Polish President Duda defends Poland’s border security, stating illegal immigrants must contribute to society amidst growing tensions with Russia.
In an interview with the American program Full Measure, President Andrzej Duda discussed Poland’s stance on illegal immigration. He emphasized that Poland, like the United States, faces challenges related to illegal migration. To address this issue, Poland constructed a border wall with Belarus, aimed at preventing unlawful crossings.
Russia’s Role in Destabilization
During the interview, Duda highlighted Russia’s role in attempting to create instability. He pointed out that many illegal immigrants arrive through Belarus and Russia, often with unrealistic expectations. “If someone believes they will come to Poland and live freely without contributing, we cannot accept that,” he said. The President stressed the importance of work and contribution to society for those wishing to live in Poland.
A Firm Message to Migrants
Duda’s message was clear: those seeking a better life in Poland must earn it through hard work. The President affirmed Poland’s commitment to maintaining order and preventing foreign interference.
