The opening of an exhibition about distinguished Polish sportsmen will be on 17th November at 2 PM in Warsaw.
After regaining independence, Polish athletes provided countless emotions and were a living showcase of the reborn Homeland. They won medals for Poland, and many of them did not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the country. After World War II, successive generations of athletes wrote the pages of our history.
The heroes of sports arenas teach respect for national colours, give lessons of patriotism and invariably for over a hundred years have provided fans with countless reasons to be proud. The exhibition will recall their contributions.
The exhibition is co-financed by the Ministry of Sport. Moreover, project partners are Totalizator Sportowy and PKO Bank Polski.
