    All Saints’ Day

The solemn feast is in honour of all Christians who have reached the state of salvation and are in heaven. It is celebrated annually on 1 November and is associated with the celebration of All Souls’ Day.

On All Saints’ Day and the next day (All Souls Day, November 2) Poles visit cemeteries to decorate the graves of their loved ones with flowers and light candles.

This day is a public holiday.
