Up to 300 flights over Polish airspace may have to be rerouted and many flights to and from Poland cancelled if an ongoing dispute between air traffic controllers and aviation authorities is not resolved soon, the Eurocontrol agency told PAP on Friday.
Eurocontrol said that Polish civil aviation authorities will begin cancelling flights from May 1 if the dispute, in which controllers are demanding better working conditions and higher pay, finds no prompt resolution.
The agency also said that up to 300 flights crossing Polish airspace could be affected.
