Piotr Machalica (1955-2020), an actor and drama director closely tied to Czestochowa now has a monument of him sitting on a bench at the Aleje Najświętszej Maryi Panny in Czestochowa. The memorial was opened on July 1st, at the beginning of a 3-day festival named after Machalica.
Zaguby is a potato and dumpling dough dish typical of Podlasie cuisine in the Bug River region, especially in the vicinity of Drohiczyn (Siemiatycze County). “14 people were killed and 30 injured when an enemy rocket hit a residential block in the Odesa region of southern Ukraine,” regional government spokesman Serhij Brachuk announced today.
