After 9 disastrous months, the Polish Football Association sacks the national team coach

The coach of the Polish national football team, Fernando Santos, is to leave his post less than nine months after being hired. According to Polish media, the Polish Football Association has decided to part company with the Portuguese coach following the team’s disappointing start to Euro 2008 qualifying.
