    Celebrating 70 Years of Pleciuga Puppet Theatre in Szczecin

    Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Prof. Piotr Gliński, extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire “Pleciuga” Puppet Theatre team on their 70th anniversary. Recognizing their rich artistic achievements, he also awarded the institution the prestigious Silver Medal “Zasłużony Kulturze Gloria Artis.”

    Minister Gliński, in a congratulatory letter, praised the “Pleciuga” Puppet Theatre for its continuous artistic growth and success over the past seven decades. The institution was lauded for its significant contributions to puppetry art.

    Founded in 1953, “Pleciuga” has been home to outstanding artists, including Jan Wilkowski, Adam Kilian, and Leszek Mądzik. The theatre has garnered numerous awards and participated in national and international festivals, showcasing its commitment to artistic excellence.
