“A member state is obliged to recognize the marriage of a same-sex couple legally concluded in another European Union country, even if that state’s law does not recognize such unions – the EU Court of Justice ruled on Tuesday,” wrote Patryk Michalski.
“I keep wondering how they admitted us to the European Union in 2004 without making the amendment of the 1997 Constitution a condition? Didn’t they read what we have written in it?” wrote Robert Gwiazdowski.
“In Poland, marriage is a union between a woman and a man, protected by the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. No leftist CJEU with politicians in robes will change that. Period,” wrote MP Janusz Kowalski.
