Eurocrats Want a “Round Table on Elections in Poland.” Wave of Reactions: “This is the Fourth Partition of Poland!”

Henna Virkkunen, Vice President of the European Commission for Technological Sovereignty, Security, and Democracy, has announced that the European Commission will soon organize a round table discussion regarding elections in Poland.

In an interview with Deutsche Welle, she revealed some details:

“I think this will happen in the coming weeks. Cooperation with Germany has gone well, and I am confident that we will also work closely with the Polish authorities. EU citizens have the right to be assured that elections are fair and free. However, due to content recommendation systems and the content itself disseminated through online platforms, this is very difficult,”

Virkkunen said.

This is yet another indication that a “Romanian scenario” might be in preparation for Poland—meaning the annulment of elections if an “incorrect” candidate wins, of course, under the pretext of alleged external interference.

“Freedom is Not an Option for Them”

The internet has been flooded with comments regarding this idea.

“The matter is clear. Hands off Our Country. If it’s not the Kremlin funding the ‘8 stars’ campaign and the repressive government of December 13 unlawfully stripping the opposition of resources and imprisoning MPs—then it’s now the ‘enlightened’ elites. The Fourth Partition of Poland,”

wrote Beata Kempa, an advisor to the President of Poland, on social media.

“It looks like Brussels wants to rig the Polish presidential elections on May 18. They are organizing a ’round table’ to discuss the matter. Freedom is not an option for them,”

read a post shared by former MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.

A direct question to the European Commission:

“Are you planning to organize a coup in Poland like in Romania? Is the result of the Polish elections already determined before the voting?”

Jacek Saryusz-Wolski.

“Brussels wants to influence elections in Poland? Henna Virkkunen, Vice President of the European Commission, admitted in an interview with DW that the EC will organize a round table with Polish authorities, Big Tech, and NGOs regarding the presidential elections in Poland. Of course, completely coincidentally, the interview references examples from Romania and Germany, where government opponents performed better online than the left and liberals… Freedom of speech for Brussels is becoming an empty phrase…,”

wrote Piotr Müller.

“Brussels, Berlin—just play with open cards and determine the results of Polish elections yourselves, then announce them in the EU Official Journal. Why bother with half-measures and masquerades?”

added Oskar Szafarowicz.
