Droneiada XI, running from June 3-9, promises thrilling events in Silesia. This annual event, hosted at Silesian Park, includes a scientific conference, advanced drone competitions, and a grand finale showcasing drone technology and equipment.
Droneiada Tech Conference
From June 3-4, the “Robotic Mobility: Autonomous Transport” conference will take place at Silesian Stadium. Organized by Silesian University of Technology, the conference will feature debates on rail and road transport, culminating in a September expert report on autonomous transport development.
The Droneiada Challenge, held from June 3-9 at Mars Fields, features a technology competition including the “Fly to Rescue” tournament. Participants include 13 academic teams and 60 special forces pilots. Concurrently, the Droneiada Junior event runs from May 29 to June 19, offering drone competitions for primary and secondary school students.
Grand Finale and Expo
The grand finale on June 9 at Mars Fields is a family-friendly event open to all. Visitors can enjoy drone flight demonstrations, explore technology exhibits, and converse with experts. An additional attraction is the autonomous mini-bus Blees BB-1, offering rides around Silesian Park.
