From Critics to Champions: The F-35 Debate and Political U-Turns in Poland

We have already become accustomed to the changes of opinion of politicians in the Tusk coalition, but it’s been a long time since we have seen anything like what has been done by politicians of the new government after the current leadership of the Ministry of National Defense received the first of the state-of-the-art American F-35 “Husarz” aircraft. Opponents of the purchase – today posing as supporters of the project – fail to remember that the purchase was only possible thanks to the actions of Polish President Andrzej Duda and the head of the Ministry of National Defense in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki – Mariusz Błaszczak.
