The Ministry of National Defence has announced the signing of two crucial contracts with the renowned Polish arms firm, Mesko S.A. These contracts are set to provide ammunition for two vital components of Poland’s defence infrastructure, the Pilica air-defence and artillery system and the KTO Rosomak armoured personnel carrier.
The announcement was made by Poland’s Defense Minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, during the 31st MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition held in the central city of Kielce. Speaking at the event, Minister Błaszczak emphasized the government’s commitment to bolstering the domestic defence industry.
The MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe, attracting key players and industry experts from around the world. This year’s edition, taking place from September 5 to 8, has garnered significant attention due to the collaboration of the state-owned Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) as its strategic partner.
The contracts signed between the Ministry of National Defence and Mesko S.A. are expected to further strengthen Poland’s defence capabilities and boost the nation’s domestic defence industry.
