Morawiecki: “Today We Are Witnessing Tusk’s Third Border Betrayal”

“A true Polish patriotic government should do exactly what Donald Trump did in the United States with illegal migrants. But do you know what this government is doing? They’re listening to Olaf Scholz. Tusk picks up the phone and politely agrees to take in illegal migrants who will destroy Poland’s security,” said former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, accusing the current PM.

A protest against illegal migration was organized today by the Gazeta Polska Clubs in Tarnowskie Góry. Former Prime Minister and leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists, Mateusz Morawiecki, attended the event and accused the government of betraying Poland’s borders.

“Today, we are witnessing Tusk’s third border betrayal. The first occurred when Lukashenko’s onslaught began against Poland. What did Tusk do then? What did Szczerba and Joński do? They ran along the border while Tusk spoke of ‘poor people looking for a place in the world,'” he recalled.

He referred to a recent interview in the British media: “When I was asked how many terrorist attacks had occurred in Poland, I was able to say ‘zero.’ But if we start taking in more migrants from Germany, our security will be seriously threatened,” he warned.

According to Morawiecki, “The second border betrayal happened when, just a week after taking power, Tusk effectively accepted the EU migration pact.” He accused the government of doing “nothing at the European Council to reject the conclusions.”

“Now we’re seeing the third border betrayal—migrants from Germany are being accepted without question,” he said, citing reports from Interia about more than 10,000 illegal migrants being transferred from Germany to Poland.

“A true Polish patriotic government should do exactly what Donald Trump did in the United States with illegal migrants. But do you know what this government is doing? They’re listening to Olaf Scholz. Tusk picks up the phone and politely agrees to take in illegal migrants who will destroy Poland’s security,” Morawiecki emphasized.
