Deputy Minister of Justice Arkadiusz Myrcha of Civic Platform took the floor in the Sejm regarding the pedophilia and bestiality scandal in Kłodzko, in which former party activist Kamila L. and her husband were convicted. During his speech, the atmosphere grew tense – politicians from Law and Justice (PiS) loudly expressed their disapproval of the information presented by the ruling party’s representative.
The Kłodzko scandal, in which one of those convicted is Kamila L., long associated with the Civic Coalition, continues to shock, and new doubts keep emerging. Photographs are circulating online showing Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Monika Wielichowska, and even Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in the company of the convicted woman.

Myrcha claims that “no one swept this case under the rug”
Speaking from the parliamentary podium, he stated that “no one swept this case under the rug”, and that the prosecution led to the conviction of Przemysław L. and Kamila L. He added that this is how a public prosecutor should act in such a case. He also said that Kamila L. – to his knowledge – had left Civic Platform (KO) before the 2024 local elections.
“The case proceeded openly from the beginning and was subject to an international agreement”, Myrcha argued. “If you see elements of negligence here, please formulate them”, he added, accusing the opposition of “fabricating facts to fit a political theory”. Nothing was said about the background of Kamila L.’s connections with influential Civic Platform politicians, although opposition MPs present in the chamber demanded such explanations.

Meanwhile, Janusz Życzkowski from TV Republika posted on X.com, claiming that the relationship between Deputy Speaker Monika Wielichowska and the convicted Kamila L. had a “tangible dimension”. The Civic Platform (KO) MP has not yet commented on these posts.
