The former head of the National Security Bureau, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, has fallen victim to harassment using methods similar to those being employed against employees and journalists of TV Republika. Cenckiewicz reported the matter on X. “The current situation demands a clear and unequivocal reaction, not public mockery or silence!” he stressed.
For several days, TV Republika and its journalists have been the target of a series of false alarms and interventions by the services. Police officers, among other things, appeared at the home of the station’s CEO, Tomasz Sakiewicz. The police had earlier announced the detention of a 53-year-old man in connection with the case, but operations are still ongoing.

As editor-in-chief, Sakiewicz reported on Saturday, one of the new methods of harassing journalists involves fake food deliveries. On Sunday, the former head of the BBN, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, revealed that he too had become a target of such actions.
“I did not order a pizza, yet at 2:16 a.m., a supposed (or actual) pizza delivery person called my private phone number, and a presumed courier (from another number) sent an SMS. Meanwhile, the company pyszne.pl informed me via SMS that the order ‘had been cancelled’,” he wrote on X, attaching screenshots to support his statement.
As he continued, he learned “about all this” today at 9:13 a.m. “Thus, my phone number and location (a gated community) were used by the provocateurs,” he noted.
“In this matter, I will take appropriate legal steps to demand the identification of the provocateur who used the pyszne.pl ordering system (which supposedly placed a pizza order in my name and to my address). I would like to point out that in the case of false alarms directed at journalists about alleged suicides or terrorist acts, in two instances these provocations were preceded precisely by ‘pizza orders’ (moreover, at a similar nighttime hour),”
he stated.
Cenckiewicz, noting that until recently he had been “a high-ranking state official dealing with state security,” appealed to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as well as Marcin Kierwiński and Tomasz Siemoniak, not to trivialize the provocative process that for several days has been targeting many individuals and TV Republika.
“The current situation demands a clear and unequivocal reaction, not public mockery or silence! Small provocations often herald big provocations… and problems! I appeal for unity, calm, and solidarity with TV Republika,”
he added.
