Outrage in Poland: Citizens March After Another Shocking Murder

Last night in Nowe (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship), a Polish man was killed during a fight involving several foreigners. The suspect, accused of delivering the fatal knife wound, is a 29-year-old Colombian. Furious residents staged a spontaneous march to express their disapproval of the current situation in the country.

Poland has been shaken by news of the murder in Nowe, allegedly committed by a young Colombian man. Police have detained ten individuals in connection with the case, including five foreigners. The incident has sparked widespread outrage—especially since today, a Silent March is being held in Toruń to honor 24-year-old Klaudia, who was murdered by a migrant.

Another Killing Outrages the Public

“A march of angry residents just passed through the streets of Nowe in response to the tragedy. They are demanding order from the authorities,” reported Maciej Naskręt on the platform X. The attached video shows a group of young men protesting in crude terms against crimes committed by refugees. Legal proceedings are underway in Nowe, and the suspect— the Colombian national—will likely be questioned on Monday.

Meanwhile, following the tragic death of 24-year-old Klaudia, who was attacked in Glazja Park during the night of June 11–12 by a 19-year-old foreigner, a Silent March is currently moving through the old town of Toruń.
