    Estimated reading time: 1 minute

The long-standing saga of Piotr Zieliński’s transfer appears to be reaching its conclusion, with reports indicating that the Polish midfielder has reached a preliminary agreement with Inter Milan. The 29-year-old’s contract with Napoli expires at the end of the season, and Italian media suggests he will not extend it after over seven years and 350 appearances with the club.

Daniele Mari and Pasquale Guarro from “FCInter19108.it” claim that Zieliński has reached a preliminary agreement with Inter, with the club offering him a three-year contract, extendable for an additional season. The reported annual salary for the Polish international is 4.5 million euros.

The Italian journalists also note that Inter has urged Zieliński to sign a preliminary agreement early in the year to prevent him from leveraging interest from other clubs to negotiate a better deal with Napoli.

In the current season, Zieliński has featured in 22 matches for Napoli, contributing three goals and as many assists.
