PM Morawiecki extols the joy of Easter: “May the Resurrection fill our homes”

Yesterday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki posted a video on social media wishing everyone a Happy Easter. “May the risen Christ bring the long-awaited peace to the world, and fill our hearts with hope and joy,” said the head of the Polish government in the attached material.

“Easter, above all, is a time of hope and faith in the victory of life over death. A difficult time is behind us. After two years of pandemics came the war, and the ending winter filled Polish homes with anxiety about the availability of coal, the availability of gas, about rising prices. We have all worked in solidarity over the past months to protect Polish families from the effects of the pandemic and the effects of the war,”

the head of government stressed in a short Christmas greetings video.

“A time of hope and faith…”

As he pointed out, the most difficult things are behind us and this year’s holidays, he added, bring hope for a better tomorrow.

“I wish everyone that the joy of the Resurrection fills our homes. May we live this Christmas in harmony and mutual kindness. May the risen Christ bring the long-awaited peace to the world and fill our hearts with hope and joy. I wish you a Happy Easter,”

    the Prime Minister said.
