    Poland’s Men’s Volleyball Team Gears Up for Intense Battles in Rotterdam

    After an exhilarating week of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League, it’s now time for the men to make their mark. The second week of intense volleyball battles will take place in Europe, specifically in Rotterdam and Orléans. Poland will face challenging opponents including Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and Italy.

    In the opening game of this year’s tournament in Nagoya, coach Nikola Grbić’s team secured a remarkable 3:1 victory over France. They followed this with wins against Iran and Bulgaria in thrilling tie-breakers but suffered a 0:3 loss to Serbia. Presently ranked sixth, Poland stands strong, with only Japan finishing the first week with a perfect record.

    The White and Red team arrives in the Netherlands with a reinforced squad, having defeated Argentina 4:0 in a friendly match last Friday. 

    The Polish team will kick off their matches in Rotterdam on Wednesday (June 21), facing the German team. On Thursday, they will take on the tournament hosts, the Netherlands. Saturday will bring a match against the United States, followed by a clash with Italy on Sunday.

    •          21 June: Poland vs. Germany

    •          22 June: Poland vs. Netherlands

    •          24 June: Poland vs. USA

    •          25 June: Poland vs. Italy

    With a bolstered lineup and a series of challenging matches ahead, Poland’s national team is set to demonstrate their skills and compete fiercely in the Men’s Volleyball Nations League held in Rotterdam.
