Polish Firefighters Joining Forces in Greece’s Battle Against Wildfires

Polish firefighters set off on another mission to Greece. Groups from Greater Poland, Lesser Poland and Podlasie provinces will support Greek firefighters in fighting the fires that have been raging south and west of Athens for several days. The firefighting operation is not made any easier by the more than 40-degree heat, which is expected to persist in the coming days. That’s why the Greeks need the support of Polish firefighters.
