President Volodymyr Zelensky’s historic visit to the US with a meeting with President Joe Biden

The Ukrainian president was in Washington yesterday. Volodymyr Zelensky’s ten-hour visit to the US included a meeting in the Oval Office with President Joe Biden, a joint press conference at the White House and an address to Congress. This is Zelensky’s first foreign visit since the war began. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
