The Polish president, together with his wife Marta Nawrocka, arrived on an official visit to the Czech Republic. In the late morning, he met with Pavel. During a joint press conference in Prague, Nawrocki emphasized that their one-on-one conversation was an opportunity to address the most important issues: European security, formats such as the Visegrad Group (V4) and the Three Seas Initiative, as well as economic cooperation, bilateral relations and infrastructure development.
The president noted that Poland and the Czech Republic are connected by their past, present and future, and that both countries are EU leaders in becoming independent from Russian gas.
