The Protest in Kraków

Yesterday at 4:00 PM, a protest commenced at Matejko Square in Kraków under the banner of opposing the liquidation of the Polish state. The event also saw the participation of clubs associated with Gazeta Polska from across the country. In light of the police raid on the home of the anti-communist opposition activist, the demonstration was also held under the slogan of defending Ryszard Majdzik.

“We Will Not Give Up!”

At the outset of the event, Ryszard Majdzik himself addressed the crowd gathered at Matejko Square in Kraków.

“You are wonderful, Polish patriots. They can destroy my body, my heart, but never my spirit,”

he declared.

The crowd responded with chants of “Ryszard Majdzik!”

He also referred to the recent police action at his residence.

“Why did they come for me? They wanted to intimidate us—us Poles, us patriots. But I did not give up, and we will not give up!”

Majdzik proclaimed.

He further emphasized the impressive turnout and expressed his gratitude to those in attendance.
