Swiatek enters Madrid semifinals with dominant victory over Martić

Polish tennis sensation Iga Swiatek secures a spot in the Madrid Open semi-finals with a dominant victory over Petra Martić 6:0, 6:3.

Iga Swiatek’s opponent had little chance in the first set as the Polish tennis star won it to zero, taking just 27 minutes to do so. However, in the third game, Swiatek struggled with errors, causing her to win only one out of eight points, which was on her serve.

The Croatian player came alive in the second set, putting up a strong fight against Swiatek and winning three games on her own serve. Though the first game of the set was easy for Swiatek, she faced some challenges in the second, but her impressive forehands and return shots allowed her to come out on top. With a total match time of one hour and 10 minutes, Swiatek secured her spot in the semi-finals of the tournament in Madrid.
