JTI Poland (part of the Japan Tobacco International group) took second place in the prestigious Top Employers Institute certification, covering the best employers in Poland and in the world, for another year in a row.
This year, a record number of 75 companies took part in the national certification. Despite the growing competition, JTI Poland is the only company in the country to maintain its position in the top three of the best workplaces since 2017.
Top Employers Institute certification is an award that of the programme that enables organisations to assess and improve the workplace environment.
Top Employers Institute has certified 2 053 organisations in 121 countries/regions. These certified Top Employers positively impact the lives of 9 million employees globally.
The programme evaluates 20 categories, such as business strategy, people management strategy, training and development, well-being, talent acquisition and the process of onboarding new employees. JTI Polska achieved an average score of 98.06% in all categories, with 100% in as many as 13 of them.
The company evaluation process, carried out by Polish and foreign auditors, takes several months. During this time, the company answers over 400 questions and must demonstrate the highest standards in terms of people management.
