The interview conducted by TV Republika with President-elect Karol Nawrocki drew millions of Poles to their screens. On Thursday, the House of Free Speech television station was once again the most-watched channel in the country. However, it was the evening broadcast that truly outperformed the competition.
Last night, journalist Danuta Holecka hosted President-elect Karol Nawrocki live on TV Republika.
During the conversation, which addressed numerous key issues related to the upcoming presidency, Dr. Nawrocki also expressed his gratitude to the “Gazeta Polska” Clubs and TV Republika viewers for their support during the campaign.
“I would like to thank the ‘Gazeta Polska’ Clubs, TV Republika, and all the staff and operators for standing by me. It was truly a good time, which is why I feel a bit of regret that this election campaign is coming to an end,” – he said.
Immense Public Interest
The strong interest shown by viewers in the president-elect’s interview translated directly into impressive viewership figures for the House of Free Speech station. On Thursday, June 5, TV Republika recorded the highest market share—7.82%—among all television stations operating in Poland. Competitors, including TVN24 (4.83%), lagged significantly behind.

Although these figures represent the entire day’s performance, it is clear that the interview with Karol Nawrocki was a major driver of the station’s popularity. The president-elect also appeared on WPolsce24 TV at 7:00 PM.
