In Wrocław, Poland, two police officers have lost their lives after being shot by Maksymilian F. The General Police Commander, on behalf of the entire police force, extends condolences and deepest sympathies to the families, as stated in a press release published on the X platform by the Polish police.
Before 6:00 PM, news surfaced about the death of the first officer, Daniel Łuczyński.
“Today, at the age of 45, due to injuries inflicted by a criminal who did not hesitate to attack a police officer, Chief Inspector Daniel Łuczyński has left us. Unfortunately, Daniel fulfilled the words of the police oath to the very end,” reads the police statement.
An hour later, the police announced the death of the second officer, Ireneusz.
“With great sorrow, we inform that our colleague Ireneusz, the second of the officers shot by the criminal in Wrocław, has passed away. The General Police Commander, on behalf of the police officers and staff of @PolskaPolicja, extends condolences and deepest sympathies to the family,” conveyed the Polish Police on the X platform.
