“I assure you that support for employers and employees, provided for in the so-called anti-crisis shield, will not be at the expense of families or seniors”, the head of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg said. She added that programs such as “Family 500 plus”, “Good start” and the thirteenth pension are not at risk.
“There are opinions suggesting that in connection with the coronavirus epidemic and the economic crisis that threatens us, parental benefits or the thirteenth pension will be suspended. I would like to calm and ensure everyone that there is no cause for concern”, the Minister said. The state budget has money secured for the payment of all these benefits. Maląg reminded that reliable and verified information is best to look on websites with the “gov.pl” extension and government’s social media profiles. “We have all found ourselves in an extremely difficult situation, but I assure you that support for employers and employees, provided for in the so-called anti-crisis shield, will not be at the expense of families or seniors”, Minister Maląg stated.
