Directors of schools and educational institutions submitted over 11,000 applications for free disinfection measures. “Applications can still be submitted, the deadline for submission is on May 29”, the Ministry of National Education’s spokeswoman said today.
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, since March 12, full-time classes at schools have been suspended. From Monday, classes for pupils of grades I-III are organized in primary schools. The form of classes for them is to depend on the epidemic conditions prevailing in the given commune in which the school is located and on the possibility of fulfilling sanitary guidelines. Stationary consultations for eighth graders pupils and high school graduates are also organized in schools. At the same time, remote learning is still ongoing. The Ministry of Health sent a letter to schools asking for declarations regarding the receipt of automatic dispensers and disinfectant liquids. “We already have over 11,000 applications filed by school and educational directors for free additional protection measures, i.e. dispensers and disinfectants. We are waiting for further applications. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to May 29”, the Ministry of National Education spokeswoman Anna Ostrowska informed.
