    Polish Post: More election packages

Poczta Polska (Polish Post) has received nearly 194 thousand election packages for delivery before the second round of presidential elections, which is over 20 thousand more than those delivered in the first round, the company reported.

As the company reminded, before the first round of presidential elections, employees of Poczta Polska delivered 174 thousand election packages. Currently, the number of voters who have decided to vote by mail has increased. In addition, postal workers service people in quarantine, isolation or home isolation. Special rules apply for this group, they will receive their ballots no later than two days before the election, i.e. on July 10. Poczta indicated that the packages were being handled by teams of two postal workers. Packages are delivered to boxes or ‘to the door of the premises’ if such instructions are on the envelope. In the case that a team of postal workers cannot deliver the package and have to leave a notice, the voter has one day to collect an election package waiting at the indicated post office.
