    13th Night at the Institute of Aviation: A Celebration of Aeronautics and Space Technology

    The 13th Night at the Institute of Aviation, Poland’s largest educational event promoting aerospace and space technology, will be held on Friday, October 4th, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This annual event attracts enthusiasts from across Poland to Warsaw, offering free entry.

    Institute’s Legacy

    The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation has been a hub for aerospace research for nearly a century. Notable achievements include aircraft designs by Tadeusz Sołtyk and contributions to Poland’s space endeavors by Prof. Piotr Wolański.

    State-of-the-Art Facilities

    The institute boasts impressive infrastructure, including the largest wind tunnel in Central Eastern Europe and the continent’s biggest vacuum chamber for testing aerospace components. Additionally, it features a unique Rocket and Satellite Propulsion Laboratory.

    The event will host over 200 exhibitors, including scientific institutions, aerospace companies, and student research groups. Workshops, exhibits, and aircraft displays offer hands-on learning experiences, particularly for children and youth.

    Dr. Paweł Stężycki, the institute’s director, emphasizes the event’s goal of promoting Polish scientific achievements and engineering careers. The evening transforms the institute into a vibrant space of exploration and discovery.
