    She left Facebook. Now she's revealing compromising information about its actions

    Facebook products harm children, inflame social divisions and undermine democracy. The company’s leadership knows how to address this, but it puts profits ahead of people’s well-being, former Facebook executive Frances Haugen told the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. The whistleblower was about to quit her job for Mark Zuckerberg’s conglomerate after she arrived at documents proving that Facebok and Instagram contribute to, among other things, disorders and suicidal thoughts among teenage girls.
